OUR MISSION
To help poor people living in poverty environments achieve significant improvements in their lives by engaging them in responding to long-term livelihood development interventions with purposes of addressing the root causes of poverty in Tanzania.

The organization that works to ensure every society in Tanzania has people who are free of poverty, well improved, and treated with dignity and respect human rights.

THE OBJECTIVE OF STAWI ESTABLISHMENT
The following are the objectives for STAWI formation.
i. To work in collaboration with like –minded organizations and partners to bring transformation changes to marginalized and dignified poor communities living in poverty environments by engaging them into different economic empowerment programs that address poverty issues.
ii. To undertaking capacity building, training and facilitation, consultation services, mentoring and coaching measures on Business development Services, Microfinance, Value Chain development & Marketing Linkage to empower stakeholders (benefiting communities) with knowledge base and skills required to organize, assess and implement programs which address poverty issues.
iii. To empower individuals, households as well as Member Based Organization (MBOs) to mobilize resources, develop sounding ideas to lead poverty eradication interventions.
iv. Increasing investments in the developmental aspects specifically on agricultural value chain addition programs as well as agro manufacturing and processing interventions that diversifying and improving the economic base for poor farming communities.
