THE STAWI’S GOAL

To ensure Tanzanian people living in poor environments achieve significant improvements in their lives by engaging them to respond to long-term livelihood development interventions to address the root cause of poverty.

 

THE OBJECTIVE OF STAWI ESTABLISHMENT

  1. To enhance food security, economic stability, and sustainable livelihoods for Tanzanian communities by promoting climate-smart, innovative, and inclusive agricultural practices.
  2. To promote sustainable environmental conservation to enhance community resilience, and climate change adaptation for improved livelihoods in Tanzania.
  3. To promote the sustainable management and equitable use of natural resources to enhance environmental conservation, biodiversity protection, economic opportunities, and community resilience in Tanzania.
  4. To enhance access to quality education and vocational training, empowering Tanzanian communities with knowledge and skills for sustainable development and improved socio-economic well-being.
  5. To provide equitable access to clean and safe water, improve sanitation, and promote sustainable water resource management to enhance public health and community resilience in Tanzania.
  6. To improve access to quality healthcare services, promote disease prevention, and enhance community health education to strengthen the overall well-being and resilience of Tanzanian communities.
